I put up the latest bit of progress on the next page for Chio Club folks to check out, along with a bit of description for what’s been going on in my life lately. The short version is, I’m being sabotaged by my own body again after I failed to anticipate how fatigued and in pain I would be after some medical tests.

I am working on finishing the page, and still trying to figure out the best way to keep comic updates relatively sustainable and flexible despite stuff like this happening. I’ll post again when I have something more substantial to say about it. I’m mainly just frustrated with myself, even though these are things that are mostly out of my control. It’s kinda demoralizing, especially when I’ve got folks who support me by continuing to read and love the story, or through the Chio Club, or in other ways. I don’t want to let anyone down!

It’s like every time I start to make progress the universe knocks me flat on my ass. I remain undaunted, or perhaps just stupid.

Old doodle but… I have nothing else to post here yet.

So this isn’t the post I wanted to make, but I am struggling a lot harder to get the next page done than I anticipated. My hands are really inflamed and nothing I do is helping, so I think at this point I have to delay this update by at least a couple more days. I am anticipating (but not going to promise) updating this Saturday, but I’ll know better after I give my hands a day or two to calm down. After I get this next page done, I’m planning on taking about two weeks off from posting in order to work more slowly. I think I’ve got some older unposted art stashed away, so I’m going to try and post something in that time, I’m just not sure what it’ll be. The next page, in its partly-finished state, is up for Chio Club folks right now.

Thanks again for your patience. It’s been a little rough lately and I’m doing my best, but sometimes I just have to call it like it is and take a break before I actually hurt myself.

Hey! The comic is a little late this week. I was working along normally and I got unexpectedly sick, which I guess is just part of the chronic illness life. Anyway, my schedule was thrown off, and this week’s page will be up on Wednesday. Sorry for the delay.
