I have unexpectedly been really sick all weekend and haven’t been able to finish the page, so it’ll be up this week sometime. I’m pretty sure it’s not covid but I am pretty miserable anyway.
Hey Chio Crew! Since I’ve been struggling to balance making pages and taking care of my joints, I decided to take a page from some other artists I’ve seen do this and start doing a weekly status post. I think this will help me stay on track with what I’m doing and let you all know what’s coming soon. I tend to feel terribly guilty when I can’t work as fast as I’d like, especially when I have supporters on Patreon and Ko-Fi who deserve more. So I think this will help bridge that gap.

I put up the latest bit of progress on the next page for Chio Club folks to check out, along with a bit of description for what’s been going on in my life lately. The short version is, I’m being sabotaged by my own body again after I failed to anticipate how fatigued and in pain I would be after some medical tests.
I am working on finishing the page, and still trying to figure out the best way to keep comic updates relatively sustainable and flexible despite stuff like this happening. I’ll post again when I have something more substantial to say about it. I’m mainly just frustrated with myself, even though these are things that are mostly out of my control. It’s kinda demoralizing, especially when I’ve got folks who support me by continuing to read and love the story, or through the Chio Club, or in other ways. I don’t want to let anyone down!
It’s like every time I start to make progress the universe knocks me flat on my ass. I remain undaunted, or perhaps just stupid.
